Lately November of 2016, La ciencia simple was support band at TORTOISE show in Santiago.

On May 25th 2017, La ciencia simple was involved in the prestigious Dunk!Fest in its 10th version. Opening the main stage where after would be featuring bands such EARTH, and the legendaries SWANS.

On November 16th 2018, La ciencia simple traveled to Argentina to perform in Anomalía fest, a post/math rock fest organized by “Anomalía ediciones” the label whom edited the last album of the band “Ritmos en cruz.

A great achievement for the band is John McEntire's interest in working with them after the shared Tortoise concert in Santiago 2016.
Finally that project could be real during 2021 when the band was able to travel to the United States and record their 4th album "Ritmos en cruz" with John.
